Ramin Djawadi

A composer who has worked on television shows, Hollywood movies and video games, Ramin Djawadi is best known for creating the dramatic theme tune and background music for the hit HBO series Game Of Thrones. Born in Duisburg, West Germany, he grew up playing guitar and piano in bands as a teenager, before becoming inspired by the music to Star Wars and The Magnificent Seven and moving to America to study at Berklee College of Music in Massachusetts in the 1990s.
