Raphaël Imbert
Saxophonist, composer and conductor Raphaël Imbert (b. 1974) has made a name for
himself in the many formations he has created: Hemlé Orchestra, Atsas-Imbert
Consort, Newtopia Project, Nine Spirit, Sixtine Group, Brotherhood Consort. A
demanding musician and researcher, member of the Improtech section of the French
National Research Agency (ANR), he is developing the Omax at Lomax mission, a
musical analysis laboratory dedicated to ethno-musicology. More prosaically, he
signed the album Live au Tracteur en quartette in 2011. After Bach and Coltrane
in 2008, the 2013 album Heavens...
