Formed in Caracas in 2007, Venezuelan reggae band Rawayana's influences span way
beyond the genre, incorporating elements from funk, ska, alternative rock, and
beyond. Consisting of "Beto" Montenegro (vocals/guitar), Antonio Casas (bass),
Andrés "Fofo" Story (drums), Alejandro "Abeja" Abeijón (guitar), and Eddie
Cisneros (keyboards), the band began performing in various venues in Caracas in
2009. The following year, they were selected to perform at the Festival Nuevas
Bandas 2010, sharing the stage with major artists like Viniloversus and La Vida
