Red Velvet is one of the highest-streamed K-pop acts in the world, with a long
list of Number 1 albums in the group's native South Korea. Formed in Seoul in
August 2014, the group's all-female lineup originally consisted of Bae Joo-Hyun
(who goes by the name "Irene"), Kang Seul-gi ("Seulgi"), Shon Seung-wan
