Portugese rapper Regula, whose real name is Nuno Tiago Oliveira Career Cabral
Lopes, is a mainstay of hip-hop tuga. He was born in Santa Maria dos Olivais and
lived there until he was four, before being moved to Catujal, Loures with his
family. He first encountered the Portugese variant of hip-hop, hip-hop tuga,
during childhood and began to listen to acts like the Black Company and Da
Weasel in the mid-1990s, forming the group Duke Skill in 1996.
