Pop, soul, and hip hop musician / singer / songwriter Alexander James O'Connor -
born on May 4, 1998, in Grayshott, Hampshire, England – is better known by his
stage name Rex Orange County. At the age of 5, his mother enrolled him in the
school choir where she worked, and he immersed himself in music. Influenced by
alternative, rock, and soul artists such as Weezer, Green Day, Queen, and Stevie
