Born on November 7, 2001 in Meaux (Seine-et-Marne), Ryad Kartoum goes by the
stage name of RK, made up of his initials. He began rapping at the age of 12,
putting aside his ambitions to become a professional footballer. He came to the
attention of the general public when Sofiane covered his first song, "1re
mi-temps #RiyadMahrez", on Skyrock's Planète rap program. From then on, the
public took an interest in the young artist and his freestyle rap. Pending the
release of a debut album in summer 2018, he founded his own label, 3.5.7. Music,
