Born in 1985 in Uviéu, Asturias, Rodrigo Cuevas studied piano and tuba at the
Conservatory of Oviedo and later sound studies at ESMUC in Barcelona. He moved
to Galicia, where he lived in A Lama for eight years and discovered traditional
Galician music and culture. There, he formed the duo La Dolorosa Compañía,
blending copla with freak-pop. Known for mixing electronic beats with folk
