Brazilian folk rock duo Sá e Guarabyra’s began their musical journey in 1971 as trio Sá, Rodrix e Guarabyra. Comprised of singer/songwriter guitarists Luiz Carlos Sá, Guttemberg Guarabyra and Zé Rodrix (real name: José Rodrigues Trindade), the trio released two successful albums – Passado, Presente, e Futuro (1972) and Terra (1973) – before Zé Rodrix left, and the two remaining members continued as a duo. Sá e Buarabyra released Nunca, their first album since Rodrix’s departure, in 1974. Several more studio albums followed – Cadernos de Viagem (1975), Pirão de Peixe com Pimenta (...
