Sade
Sade Adu (born January 16, 1959 in Ibadan, Nigeria), often just called Sade, is
a smooth jazz, soul and R&B singer from the UK. Born Helen Folasade Adu, she
initially worked as a model in the late 1970s. in 1980, Sade switched to the
music business, initially as a singer in various bands. in 1984, Sade released
her debut single "Your Love Is King", accompanied by a band. The song made it to
number 6 in the UK and from then on the name Sade became synonymous not only
with the singer, but with the artist's entire ensemble. Sade's debut album,
