Salvador Sobral
Salvador Vilar Braamcamp Sobral (full name) was born on December 28, 1989 into a
noble Portuguese family. Influenced by soul, bossa nova and singers like Leonard
Cohen, he began singing as a child. After appearing on reality TV at the age of
20, he released the album Excuse Me in 2016, a testament to his musical
eclecticism. Salvador Sobral represents Portugal at the Eurovision Song Contest,
