Sara Bareilles
Discovering a love of singing in childhood at her church choir, Sara Bareilles
appeared in various local stage productions before going on to study at the
University of California in Los Angeles and joining the vocal group Awaken A
Cappella - singing with them on their Dysfunktional Family album. Bareilles also
performed as a solo singer and pianist in bars, sang Undertow in the movie Girl
Play and went on to release her debut album Careful Confessions in 2004. Playing
support on various tours with the likes of James Blunt, Paolo Nutini and
Counting Crows, she finally hit it big ...
