Satan is a British heavy metal band that was founded in Newcastle upon Tyne in
1979. The band is part of the New Wave of British Heavy Metal (NWOBHM) and is
considered one of the most influential bands of this genre. It consists of the
members Brian Ross (vocals), Steve Ramsey (guitar), Russ Tippins (guitar),
