Singer Jack Sedman and guitarist Harry Draper aka indie folk-pop duo Seafret met
fortuitously at an open mic night in their hometown of Bridlington, East
Yorkshire in 2011 and decided to form a band. After drumming up interest online,
they made the move to London in 2014 and released their debut EP, Give Me
Something, on Sweet Jane Recordings. A follow-up EP came in 2015, Oceans, which
ultimately paved the way for their debut studio album, Tell Me It's Real.
