Originally marketed as the female counterpart to the boy band SG Wannabe, the
South Korean all-girl group SeeYa was assembled in the early aughts by the media
giants Stone Music Entertainment (formerly known as Mnet Media) and MBK
Entertainment. Consisting of Kim Yeon-ji, Lee Bo-ram, and Nam Gyu-ri, SeeYa made
their official debut in 2006 with the studio album The First Mind, a
ballad-heavy release that managed to crack the Top 5 of South Korea's Circle
