Born in Istanbul, Turkey on December 4, 1964, Sertab Erener is a singer and
songwriter best known for winning the Eurovision Song Contest in 2003 with
“Everyway That I Can.” She became interested in opera and studied at the
Istanbul University State Conservatory before continuing at Mimar Sinan Fine
