Kim Seung Min (September 22, 2000), professionally known as Seungmin, is a South
Korean singer and dancer who jumped into the public eye with the boy band Stray
Kids. Born in the city of Seoul, he joined JYP Entertainment as a trainee in
2017 after finishing runner-up in the media giant's 13th Open Audition. Later
that year, Seungmin competed in the survival reality show Stray Kids, organized
by the company to determine the lineup of its latest idol group. Named after the
