Starting out on the Adelaide jazz circuit during the 1990s as a vocalist for the
band Crisp, Australian songstress Sia Kate Isobelle Furler (December 18, 1975),
known mononymously as Sia, only made it into the mainstream after she moved to
the UK. After a stint doing backing vocals for Jamiroquai, her debut UK release,
Healing Is Difficult was released in 2000, spawning the single “Taken for
