Experimental folk on their debut album, Chemistry Is What We Are, released in
2001, the English band Simian delivers a second full-length, We Are Your
Friends, with pop-formatted songs and psychedelic/electronic overtones. The
album includes the hits "La Breeze" and "Never Be Alone", which achieved
international success thanks to a remix by French electronic duo Justice. Simian
broke up in 2005, but was survived by Simian Mobile Disco, formed by two of its
members.
