A Christian rock band from Tennessee, Skillet was formed in 1996 in Memphis by
John Cooper, former lead singer of Seraph, and Ken Steorts, ex-member of Urgent
Cry. The pair recruited Trey Clurkin as drummer. A debut album of the same name
