A British grime rapper celebrated for his politically-charged lyrics and
genre-bending music, Tyron Frampton is better known by his stage name, Slowthai.
Born in Northampton, England, on December 18, 1994, he struggled with a speech
impediment during childhood, which led to him being nicknamed "Slow Ty." He
later developed an acclaimed form of hip hop that merged the raw energy of punk
