Referred to as the Prince of V-pop, Vietnamese singer/songwriter Sơn Tùng M-TP,
born Nguyễn Thanh Tùng on July 5, 1994, to parents who were both talented
amateur musicians. While still a teenager, some early recordings took of his
were noticed by a rapper who asked M-TP to perform with his group, Young Pilots.
He released his debut solo single, "Cơn mưa ngang qua", in 2012, and it garnered
the R&B Song of the Year award at the Zing Music Awards. He established himself
in the public eye with "Em của ngày hôm qua" in December of 2013, but the song
