Storm Queen is the stage name of American DJ, songwriter, and producer Morgan
Geist, who is mostly known for being one half of Brooklyn-based house duo Metro
Area. With influences that range from Detroit techno to nu-disco, he has made
remixes for several artists, including Franz Ferdinand, The Rapture, and many
others. Geist released a couple of albums under his own name during the late 90s
and early 2000s, most notably The Driving Memoirs (1997) and Double Night Time
