Schoolmates Mutya Buena, Keisha Buchanan and Siobhan Donaghy were barely 14 when
they formed a vocal group and seemingly a few minutes later they were roaring up
the charts with their first single Overload. Co-writing with All Saints producer
Cameron McVey, they followed it with a string of classy, dance-orientated hits.
It wasn't all plain sailing, however. Siobhan was an early casualty, ducking out
in 2001 to be replaced by Heidi Range, a former member of Atomic Kitten. It
produced spectacular results when Freak Like Me, an inspired mash-up of Gary
Numan's Are Friends Electric?...
