Sugar MMFK
Joao Michel Diau, aka Sugar MMFK, is a German-born rapper with Angolan roots;
his parents fled from the civil war in their home country and settled in Bonn.
Drawing on his African heritage, 2015 saw him release his first independent
recording 'Lost City' as part of the 'Ohrfeigenmixtape' project. The success of
the project enabled him to travel outside of Germany and come to the attention
of French rapper, Booba, who championed him.
Following extensive touring and the controversial release and re-release of his
