(Supreme NTM)
Pioneers of the hip-hop movement in France, the group from Seine-Saint-Denis,
formed in 1988, reigned supreme on the French rap scene in the 1990s. Over four
albums, Authentic in 1991, 1993... J'appuie Sur la Gâchette in 1993, Paris sur
les Bombes in 1995 and Suprême NTM in 1998, the Kool Shen - Joeystarr duo built
up a powerful, radical and visionary body of work, unrivalled in the history of
French urban music. After splitting up in 2001, NTM reformed in 2008, and the
following year released On Est Encore Là - Bercy 2008, testifying to their
reunion with their fans.
