Switchfoot
Founded in 1996 as a Christian rock band, Switchfoot quickly transcended its
religious roots to become one of America's most popular live acts. Built around
the songwriting and distinctive vocals of frontman John Foreman, the band took
shape in San Diego, California, and released the debut album The Legend of Chin
in 1997. 2000's Learning to Breathe earned Switchfoot its first gold-certified
