Hitesh Sharma is a singer from Canada with Indian roots known as Tesher. At a young age, he made mashups of Indian Bollywood music and Western hip hop and made a name for himself as a remixer. His first original composition was the track "Young Shahrukh" , which he released in 2020 and went viral on social media. He subsequently signed with Sony Music India. In the same year, his remix of Justin Bieber's "Yummy" also went viral under the title "Yummy Jalebi" and was re-released as "Jalebi Baby" .
