The Allman Betts Band
Devon Allman is the son of Gregg Allman of The Allman Brothers Band. He met his
father for the first time at the age of 16 and was invited to tour with him and
the band. When he did this, he met Duane Betts, son of band member Dickey Betts,
and Berry Duane Oakley Jr., son of Berry Oakley. After a lifelong career in
music and a rich family influence and heritage, Allman assembled the Devon
Allman Project in 2017, commencing a world tour with Betts as special guest. The
tour was a success and Allman and Betts announced the formation of The Allman
Betts Band.
