The Amity Affliction
The Amity Affliction are a metalcore band from Gympie, Queensland, Australia.
They were formed in 2003 by school friends Troy Brady and Ahren Stringer and
cite a wide variety of bands as musical influences including Slayer, Nirvana,
Metallica and Black Sabbath. Their debut studio album was titled Severed Ties
and upon its release in 2008, briefly entered the Australian Charts at number
