The Dillinger Escape Plan's progressive, jazz-inflected metal has earned them
critical acclaim since their 1999 debut Calculating Infinity. Despite frequent
changes of musicians and the replacement of its singer, the American quintet has
retained its originality on subsequent albums Miss Machine (2004), Ire Works
(2007) and Option Paralysis (2010). The Dillinger Escape Plan remain just as
rough on 2013's One of Us Is the Killer. In 2016, the band announced that they
would be splitting up on the release of their sixth album, Dissociation.
