The Rakes
Hailing from the East London district of Whitechapel, The Rakes ("debauched",
"libertines") were formed in 2004 around singer Alan Donohue, a former biology
student. Over the course of three albums, The Rakes have developed a tight, edgy
rock sound, as evidenced by 2009's solid Klang.
