The Script
Originally meeting in their native city, Danny O'Donoghue and Mark Sheehan
formed part of Dublin, Ireland-based band MyTown in 1996. With four members, the
group achieved some success in the UK and Ireland but were pushed aside by the
increasing numbers of boy bands that were entering the scene. However, the
songwriting partnership between Danny O'Donoghue and Mark Sheehan had already
been recognized and, after the demise of the MyTown, the pair travelled to
Canada and the US to work with Teddy Riley and Montell Jordan. Several years
