Third Day were an American Christian rock band formed in Marletta, Georgia in
1991, celebrating many hit records with 16 albums on the Billboard 200 including
seven in the top ten. They earned eleven Grammy Award nominations and achieved
four wins. In early 2018, the three remaining members of the band - co-founders
Mac Powell and Mark Lee and drummer David Carr - announced that they would
disband following a farewell American tour saying they wished to pursue other
ventures.
