Algerian-born French rapper Tif, whose real name is Toufik Bouhraoua, was born
in Algiers in 1996. The son of an architect and a school teacher, he grew up in
the Algiers suburb of Bab-El-Oued, before leaving to study in France at the age
of eighteen, where he planned a career as a rapper. Settled in Lyon, he released
his first track "3iniya" in 2019 , when the Covid-19 pandemic interrupted his
momentum. Back in 2022 with "Emoji DZ" and ".38", Tif made up for lost time with
