Tomok is the stage name of Malaysian vocalist Shah Indrawan bin Ismail, who
gained fame as the teenaged frontman of the boy band New Boyz before launching a
solo career with his self-titled album Tomok in 2010. He was born in Negeri
Sembilan on May 17, 1984, and joined New Boyz at 15 years old. When the group
broke up in 2008, Tomok auditioned for the third season of the televised singing
competition One in a Million and ultimately became the show's first male winner.
