Torfrock
The rock band Torfrock are a band from northern Germany whose musical identity
and personas are strongly linked with the area's Saxon roots. Their name
literally translates as 'peat rock' and is a nod to the Iron Age origins of the
region's population. The band was founded by vocalist Klaus Büchner and
guitarist Raymond Voß in 1976 with their debut album 'Dat Matscht So Schön'
