Trio Chemirani is a family story revolving around the zarb, a traditional
Iranian drum. Both father and master, Djamchid Chemirani introduced his two sons
Keyvan Chemirani and Bijan Chemirani to this ancient and subtle art. Whether
individually or collectively, the members of Trio Chemirani offer infinite
rhythmic possibilities with their instruments. Trio Chemirani made its debut in
1998 with Trio de Zarb, followed by Qualam Kar in 2002 and Tchechmeh in 2004.
