Formed in 1985 in Okinawa, Kanagawa Prefecture, Japan, Tube is a pop rock band
formed while the members were still in high school. Founded by Maeda Nobuteru
(vocals), Haruhata Michiya (guitar and keyboards), Kakuno Hideyuki (bass), and
Matsumoto Ryouji (drums). Known for their upbeat music focuses on the joys of
Summer, Tube released their debut album, Heart of Summer, under the group name
The Tube, followed six months later by the album Off Shore Dreamin’ (1985). In
