Tumi Molekane
Tumi Molekane only returned to Soweto, South Africa, in 1992, having been born
in exile in Tanzania in 1981. Previously known as MC Fatboy, this MC and poet
has made a considerable impact on the Johannesburg hip-hop scene. A member of
the P.E.R.M. combo alongside Zee, Strawmoon, Space2wice, Kju52, Richard The 3rd,
McWillie, Neo Shamiyaa and Dilseng, he released an album in 2001 entitled APT:
An Artistic Representation of Truth, but made his solo debut the same year with
The Tao of Tumi. At the same time, he published a book, a collection of poems
