Varnish la Piscine
Born in Switzerland on March 4, 1994, Jephté Mbisi has distinguished himself in
the musical sphere through several pseudonyms, from Varnish La Piscine to Pink
Flamingo. A fan of Pharrell Williams when he discovered him as a teenager,
Varnish La Piscine began composing on his computer, where he mixed the many
influences he accessed on the Internet. As he developed his artistic skills,
Varnish quickly became part of the new Swiss rap scene, mainly in Geneva, which
included Makala, Di-Meh and Slimka. The rapper soon made a name for himself,
embracing influences as varied as Stereola...
