The story of Englishwoman Vashti Bunyan is one of those that legends are made
of. The folk singer discovered by Andrew Loog Oldham in 1965 released just one
album in 1970, Just Another Diamond Day. Disappointed by the lack of sales,
Vashti Bunyan withdrew from the music scene, while her record and her name
gradually became cult. The CD reissue of Just Another Diamond Day in 2000
rekindled interest in the artist, who finally came out of retirement to deliver
Lookaftering in 2005. Now back on track, the singer returned in 2014 with
Heartleap.
