Vinnie Paz, known for his excessive verbosity, made his debut in 1993 with the group Jedi Mind Tricks. In 1998, he formed Army of the Pharaohs with five MCs. His first solo album, Season of the Assassin, was released in 2010 and reached number 25 on the US rap charts. This was followed by Heavy Metal Kings and the album of the same name in 2011. A convert to Islam, Vinnie Paz's lyrics are marked by religion, politics, conspiracy theories and homophobia.
