Singer-songwriter Vishal Dadlani – born in Bombay, India on June 28, 1973 – is
best known as the front man for electronic rock band Pentagram and as one-half
of Vishal-Shekhar, a duo known for writing, performing, and producing music for
Hindi cinema (a.k.a. Bollywood). Vishal Dadlani began his musical career in the
Mumbai-based electronica band Pentagram, who became pioneers of Indian indie
music. The group released their debut album, We’re Not Listening, in 1996.
