Julio Voltio, born Julio Irving Ramos Filomeno on June 11, 1977, in Santurce,
San Juan, Puerto Rico, is a former reggaeton artist and rapper who was
instrumental in shaping the early sound of the genre. Voltio began his music
career as part of The Masters of Funk and later formed the duo Karel y Voltio.
After going solo, he released his debut album Voltage AC (2004), which featured
hits like "Julito Maraña" and "Bumper." His follow-up, Voltage DC (2005),
