Born on 7 July 1963 in New York City and raised in California, Vonda Shepard
made a name for herself as the familiar face and voice on the hit late 1990s TV
show All McBeal, performing the iconic theme tune "Searchin' My Soul" as well as
regularly performing on the show as a fictionalised version of herself. Prior to
that, she began honing her skills as a backup singer for Jackson Browne before
