Walter Cooper Trout (born March 6, 1951 in Ocean City, New Jersey) is a composer, guitarist and singer from the USA. With his music, the artist creates a synthesis between blues and rock - blues rock. Even as a teenager, Walter Trout played in various bands and with other musicians. He accompanied the blues musician John Lee Hooker at the end of the 1970s. From 1980, he was part of Canned Heat for four years. Walter Trout then worked with John Mayall.
