WANDS are a Japanese rock band formed in 1991. Initially formed by Show Wesugi,
Hiroshi Shibasaki and Kousuke Oshima, the band took influence from the likes of
alternative rock bands like Guns N' Roses and reached number one with their 1992
single 'If I Embrace You More Strongly', staying in the charts for 44 weeks.
Debut album 'Temporal Door' went straight to number one in 1993 and sold more
than three million albums, with the band instantly becoming one of the biggest
