Formed in Seoul, South Korea in 2019, Wave to Earth is an indie rock and pop
band founded by singer, songwriter, and guitarist Kim Daniel. Initially working
alongside drummer Shin ‘Dong Q’ Donggyu, the original duo released their debut
single, “Wave,” in 2019. The group added bassist Soonjong ‘John’ Cha along the
way and released two EPs in 2020: Wave 0.10 and Summer Flows 0.02. Signing with
the Wavy label, the trio began recording their debut album along with session
