Wilfred Lau Ho-Lung (known professionally as Wilfred Lau) is a Hong Kong singer
and actor, born on 13 August, 1976 in Hong Kong. Despite dreaming of a career in
music from a young age, he was discouraged by his teachers and put his
aspirations aside. However, at age 21, Lau found the courage to enter the 1997
New Talent Singing Awards International Finals, where he won first place as well
as the Best Performance and Performance Art Potential awards. Hosting television
